Constantly thinking about food?

Ooooweeee I know how draining and frustrating this is. ⁣

Before I fixed my relationship with food, that’s all I was thinking about. ⁣

This is actually why I got interested in the psychology of food. It is such a delicate subject as it’s something that can really consume a persons life. ⁣

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝:⁣

- Eating disorders (very sensitive topic)⁣

- Hormonal issues (ever feel like you can lick a piece of lettuce and gain weight?) ⁣

- Digestive and absorption inefficiencies (you can eat all the greatness the world but if your body is not absorbing it, your body is always going to feel in “need”)⁣

- Restrictive eating and diets (restriction triggers the brain and all you focus on are the restricted foods)⁣

- Ignoring your hunger signals in purse of weight/fat loss (remember if you put your body under this kind of stress, you actually counteract what you want, your body will “hold on”)⁣

- Emotional/boredom eating⁣

- Stress ⁣

- Sleep ⁣

- Are you really filling your plate with nutrients or are you having coffee as food replacement in hopes of restricting calories?⁣

We need to have more in our lives that’s rewarding so that eating is only a “side dish” among many activities that bring us joy.⁣
